Volunteering for AIDS Week…
A group of CWW volunteers have decided that we should do some extra-curricular volunteering outside of our 8-5 jobs. World AIDS day is fast approaching – Wednesday 1st December – and we have began making red ribbons to sell. We aim to raise $200 and plan to sell the ribbons for 5octs, so we need to make 400 ribbons!
My host is a member of Belmopan Branch of the National AIDS Commission and they had a planning meeting today which we attended. They are planning a week of activities and we as CVWW volunteers have agreed to organise their annual candlelight vigil.
It is going to be a busy next few days so I may not have time to blog at length.
Workwise – the office opening plans are keeping me busy!
