If its happened twice now she’s (sub)concsiously trying to show her disapproval. She’s probably not ok with you coming in late in which case she should have made her ‘curfew’ clear from the start. drama mamaz!

Yes, you have to see LoTR and more important, learn Elvish. The inscription on the door to the Mines of Moria reads: Ã¢â‚¬Å“Speak, friend and enterÃ¢â‚¬?. Gandalf randomly reels off several magic words hoping one will cause the door to open. Frodo is clever and soon understands they are being asked is to speak the word Ã¢â‚¬ËœfriendÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ in Elvish, which is Ã¢â‚¬ËœmellonÃ¢â‚¬â„¢. ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s a riddle, you see. Perhaps your host understands Elvish:-)

In Lord of the Rings, Gandalf has to say the word ‘friend’ in Elvish to open the doors to the caves of Moria (Frodo gets it but Gandalf, for all his magic and spells, does not). Perhaps this is what she wants you to do:-)
