MJY. I am with you on the generalisations, and moreso on the “As seen on TV” quote. Anyone who still believes that what they see on tv is “fact” as opposed to “fact as I want you to see it, or as I am paid to say it” should “get out more”.

There is no excuse for ignorance in this age.
As for your post…true dat girlfriend true dat!
I was going to finish your sentence “To such people I have this to say….kiss my a** ” but you were much ‘nicer’ and ‘friendlier’ 😉

The sad part is the ‘As seen on TV” image is so prevalent it will take generations to wipe out and that is why as African people and especially African women we need to be careful where we get our validation and standards.
Man…we dont even let our kenyan brothers slide with those backward posts so Junglejewels had better step lightly.
I am interested in his elaboration and explanation if any is forth coming.

It is quite annoying as reading Mshairi’s blog he apologised to Nyakehu and you and yet he does not even explain why he is apologising to Nyakehu. Atatafuta adhabu or he will be given it kindly in the nice and friendly way Kenyan women do it, just like on TV.
