Just like the Student Rally the Vigil had a 101 hitches but it was a huge success. Over 50 people turned up which was better than last year, so I am told.<\/p>\n

Initially our programme was set to last all of 10 minutes due to lack of willing participants but on the night a few students turned up as well as the 4H group and they performed.<\/p>\n

The candles were given out for free but we asked for donations and we also sold red ribbons and people were very responsive and generous.<\/p>\n

A member of the Belmopan Choral society turned up and she sang the National Anthem beautifully. The Mayor turned up too and he also spoke.<\/p>\n

It did not rain which was an even greater blessing! <\/p>\n

We were out there for an hour an a half and everyone who attended said they enjoyed themselves.<\/p>\n

I have seen some of the photographs that were taken and they are fantastic…and I promise that eventually these pictures shall be available for public viewing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
