My flight from Belize to Miami was uneventful. I had been informed that my former host was flying out that same day but she was not on my flight.<\/p>\n

I got in to Miami and no sooner had I made it passed immigration and out towards the food court when I heard some one holla at me:<\/p>\n

I turned round and standing there was a white Rastafarian. He came up to me and told me his name and then he gave me his phone number. He is a music video\/producer who is off to work with some reggae artists in Jamaica. We said our goodbyes, exchanged blessings and off I went.<\/p>\n

I think I have to go and learn more about Rastafarianism. I have been impressed by all the true Rastafarians I have met. All have been respectful and even in the case of this man that I met, I didn’t feel that he approached me in a ‘pick up line’ kind of way. He was just genuinely happy to see another dread person. <\/p>\n

As I had a lot of time in Miami I did bump into him again, his flight had been cancelled, again he hailed me as ‘sister’ and he left me with ‘blessings’. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
