Madaraka Day commemorates the day that Kenya attained internal self-rule following an important milestone on the road to independence. To mark this event the Kenyan Blogs Webring<\/a> (KBW) Admin Team<\/a> would like to invite KBW bloggers to blog in unison under the banner \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00cb\u0153Kenyan Bloggers’ Day<\/em><\/strong>\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2. <\/p>\n Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n We have been inspired by Keguro’s<\/a> and Black Looks’ <\/a> and Mshairi\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s<\/a> call to action in respect of the East African Standard raid<\/a> and International Women\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s day<\/a> respectively. Additionally, the level of support and interaction shown by our members in response was outstanding and we therefore, recognise the value of collective blogging.<\/p>\n With this in mind we wish to use collective blogging as means of celebrating the nation that unites us as bloggers.<\/p>\n How to Get Involved<\/strong><\/p>\n On or before June 1st 2006, we are proposing that we all create a post on any or all of the following suggested topics:<\/p>\n The post can be a piece of prose \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 2 lines, an essay, a poem, a podcast, a photograph, your favourite quote.
