Last night I came home from the Bull Frog at about 3 am to find that the front door had been bolted shut; which made my keys redundant. I wouldn’t mind so much but this is the second<\/b> time it has happened; though the first time my host had been semi-awake waiting for me.<\/p>\n

My understanding of my home situation, based on what both my host and placement leader have informed me is that I am there as a lodger. I have my own keys and I can come and go as I please. I know full well that this does not mean that I should treat the house as a hotel. I clean up and help out where I can. I always let my host know where I am going and in fact yesterday I left her a note on the table saying I was out for the night.<\/p>\n

Thankfully the other volunteer I was with had a spare room so Istayed at his place and walked home this morning. <\/p>\n

When I got in this morning she said she saw me leave her house at 3 am and wondered where I was going. She said it was at that point that she locked the door! I said that is not possible, the time she saw me was when I had walked up to the door; found it bolted shut; realised I couldn’t get in and decided to crash at someone’s place. <\/p>\n

What annoys me even more is that we discussed this before. As far as I am aware I do not have a curfew, nor do I make a habit of going out every night. This is just crap. <\/p>\n

I can cope with the visitors rule and the no phone calls rule however I really do not appreciate having to walk through Belmopan at early hours of the morning; in the same clothes I had on yesterday looking like all rough! <\/p>\n
