It’s Friday, 8.05 pm and I am still in the office. I wanted to stay behind and finish some work and at 5pm it seemed liked a good idea. At 5.30 pm when it started raining, I congratulated myself for staying behind and keeping dry. Now it is past 8 pm and still raining, I am cold because I did not carry a jacket and I really want to go home. I could call a taxi but the only taxi number I know is stored in my mobile phone and my phone battery is dead! <\/p>\n

Most people are getting ready to hit the clubs and pubs and I am sat here praying that we don’t have a power cut, which usually happens when it rains this much. This is just like a scene from a horror movie – howling winds, heavy rain, strange noises.<\/p>\n
