The Belize National Council on Ageing is the advisory, advocacy and co-coordinating mechanism of the Ministry of Human Development and acts to ensure the promotion, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the National Policy for Older Persons.
The National Policy for Older Persons considers the ongoing contributions of Older Persons as a vital potential in Belize’s development process. The NCA is mandated therefore to enhance and develop this potential to the benefit of Belize.
