The dehumanising effect of animal personhood
To argue that owning a pet is the same as being a parent is to dehumanise a child. Animal rights and human rights are not mutually exclusive but we when our fight for animal rights involves assigning personhood to animals we need to re-examine our priorities.
Only a racist votes for a racist party
We need to be consistent in our condemnation of the BNP and its supporters. If the party is racist then so are its followers and maybe its time to revoke its political party status
