Reality Check…

Wed 15th September 2004 MamaJunkYard

One week to go and panic has set in. I have started making list after list of what I must take, what I must do before I leave, who I should speak to before I go, who I should email. I have spent all morning making lists and now I have to make another list prioritising all my lists.

I have had quite a few sleepless nights and when I do sleep I have crazy dreams about rescuing drowning tourists in Belize whilst being aided by baby sharks.

As hurricane season in Belize does not end until sometime in November, I have become obsessed with tracking hurricanes and I have nearly memorised all the hurricane shelters in Belmopan. (Why is there not a single pub on that list?)

These last minute nerves had better pass soon.
