KUL Nominated

Wed 12th April 2006 MamaJunkYard

KenuyaUnlimited, the permanent home of the Kenyan Blogs Webring has been nominated for the Kaybees 2006 award for Best Design.

KUL (as KenyaUnlimited is often referred to) serves as a central meeting place, a forum for ideas and projects and to move beyond blogging and beyond the virtual world. One such project that can be found at KUL is the Open Blog.

Open Blog is defined as, “an experimental blog featuring contributions from the members of the Kenyan Blogs Webring.” In other words, anyone who joins KBW can register to be an author of Open Blog. It has been a huge success and those who have posted on Open Blog have written on a range of issues.

The KUL site is a group site belonging to every member of KBW, so this is in many ways a group nomination; so congratulations to all those who have played a part in making KUL what it is.

To any KBW member who is interested in registering as an author on Open Blog please follow this link and register with a name connected to your blog.
